Sanskar Balmandir, Mumbai Had a Speical Dream India Camp

Highlights:

“લોકશાહી અને જવાબદારીના પાયાગત મૂલ્યોને ખીલવનારો કૅમ્પ”

Oasis Dream India Camp was organized specially for the children of Charlie Help Universe Trust – a home for the disabled, parentless and socially disadvantaged children – based in Surat, Gujarat along with the children of Sanskar Balmandir – a well-established & futuristic educational institute especially for children from weaker sections of society – based in Mumbai. 78 children participated in the camp which was organized from 25th May to 3rd June at Oasis Valleys.

The camp was facilitated by Dr. Neha Vakharia, Trustee Secretary, OASIS & Dr. Ami Desai, Trustee, OASIS. Praksha Desai and Avani Naik assisted them as Co-facilitators. 5 Teachers, 2 Guest Teachers & 3 Volunteers also participated in the camp. 12 Young Oasis Leaders and Trainees helped the facilitators in various sessions as co-facilitators, assisted the main teachers by taking sessions and with the overall management of the whole camp.

The teachers who participated in the camp were – Dr. Avani Kulkarni (English Confidence & Music), Bhavesh Jadav (3D Model Making & Home Engineering), Niti Soni (Embroidery), Krishna Naik (Drama & Mime) & Swati Shah (Best from Waste & Drawing-Painting). Dr. Neha Vakharia took Leadership Class & Avani Naik took Art of Story-telling Class. Dr. Suneet Dabke (Environment Conservation) and Nainita Rana (My Dream Home) came to camp as Guest Teachers for a day. Aarif Khatik, Rekha Jhala and Tejal Chauhan assisted as Volunteers.

The young Oasis leaders who joined as trainee in the camp were – Aatmi Naik, Falguni Mistry & Kajal Solanki as Co-facilitators & Faculties, Abhishek Patel & Prashant Mekwan as Overall Managers and Bhumika Kumavat, Jagruti Patil, Margi Parghi, Roma Desai, Shabana Ansari, Shailesh Agrawal & Tushar Rathod as Duty Managers.

One of the highlights of the camp was – All young leaders who volunteered in the camp worked with commendable enthusiasm and zeal everyday from early morning till late night. And on the field they commanded respect from participants 5-6 years elder than them.

Higher Secondary Girls' Hostel, Bilpudi, Dharampur, Dist. Valsad

સત્યને સાથ આપીને અને કોઈની સાથે ભેદભાવ કર્યા વગર સરખો ન્યાય આપતા શીખ્યા...”

Special Dream India Camp was organized for the girls of Shabari Chhatralay, Kaparada, Dist. Valsad and Higher Secondary Girls’ Hostel, Bilpudi, Dharampur, Dist. Valsad. 48 Girls participated in the camp which was organized during 9-16 June at Oasis Valleys.

The main facilitator of the camp was Hiral Patel, Oasis and Mayuri Gohil helped her as Co-facilitator. They were guided by Dr. Pallavi Raulji, Trustee OASIS. 4 Teachers, 6 Guest Teachers & a Volunteer participated in the camp with girls. 4 Young Volunteers from ASHA, Oasis Bangalore, participated as Trainee in the camp.

“આખા કૅમ્પ દરમિયાન મને મઝા કરવાનું, શીખવાનું, નવું નવું સર્જન કરવાનું અને
સાથે મળીને રહેવાનું વધારે ગમ્યું... આઠ દિવસ ક્યાં ગયાં અમને ખબર જ ન પડી...”

કે ઊઠવાનું મન ન થાય... અહીં તો આપણા ઘર કરતાં પણ વધારે સ્વતંત્રતા છે...”

The teachers who participated in the camp were – Dhwani Mankodi (Drama & Mime), Avani Kulkarni (Yoga,Life Saving Techniques & Singing), Nikita Patel (Free Exercise, English Confidence & Computer), Sneh Kinkhabwala(Magic with Cloth). Mayuri Gohil took Creative Craft Work Class and Hiral Patel took Leadership Class. The Guest Teachers who came for a day were Dipali Jaradi (Jewellery designing), Kiritbhai Mehta (Repair – Vepair), Mikit Patel (Artefacts), Nidhi Chandodwala (Art & Crafts), Dr. Parul Shah (Cooking) & Vatsala Patel (Bharatnatyam). Nurul Diwan assisted as Volunteer & helped in Photography & Computer work.

The young ASHA Volunteers who joined as trainee in the camp were – Pooja (Pursue Your Dream & My Precious Body), Lavanya (My Precious Body & Dance), and Prajval & Vignesh for Overall Management.

2nd Batch: Surat Dist. Teachers Begin With 1st Workshop
At Agriculture University, Navsari

Second batch of Surat Teachers begin their journey as 'Hu Chhu Jyotirdhar' with their 1st workshop - MHS Workshop Part I - at Agriculture University, Navsari. The workshop was organized from 2nd to 4th June and was facilitated by Pratiksinh Parmar (Trustee, Navnirman Highschool, Navsari), which was his first workshop with HCJ Movement.

Crux of few reflections from participants -

વ્યક્તિગત જાગૃતિ અને સભાનતા આવી. જીવન જીવવાની કળા અંગે જે અણસમજ હતી તે દૂર થઈ. કોઇપણ સમસ્યાના મૂળમાં આપણે પોતે જ હોઈએ છીએ તે સમજાયું. પરિવર્તનની શરૂઆત હંમેશાં આપણાથી જ થવી જોઈએ. આજ સુધી સ્વાવલંબનથી જીવન જીવતા હતા, હવે પરસ્પરાવલંબનથી જીવનમાં એવો વળાંક લાવીએ કે જેથી કૌટુંબિક અને વ્યાવસાયિક બન્ને જીવનમાં સફળતા અને આનંદ મળી જાય. - ખુશ્બૂ પાઠક

સંચાલક શ્રી.પ્રતિકસિંહે ખૂબ જ સારી રીતે જીવનનો મહિમા અને Art of living શિખવાડ્યું. તેમની ભાષા સજ્જતા તથા સમજાવવાની શૈલી ખૂબ જ ગમી. ઉદાહરણ, વાર્તા દ્વારા મુદ્દાની સમજૂતી મનમાં ફીટ થઈ ગઈ. દરેક પ્રશ્નને ખૂબ જ પ્રેમ પૂર્વક સમજાવવાની શૈલી ગમી. - અમિષા મિસ્ત્રી

3rd Batch: Surat Teachers Start With 1st Workshop
At Agriculture University, Navsari

3rd batch of Surat Teachers had their 1st workshop - MHS Workshop Part I - at Agriculture University, Navsari. The workshop was organized from 5th to 7th June and was facilitated by Ar. Snehal Shah (Chief Architect, S. Team Design Services, Surat), who joined the movement with this workshop.

Crux of reflections from participants -

આ કાર્યશાળા અમને અમારા જીવનના ધ્યેયો નક્કી કરવામાં ખૂબ મદદરૂપ થઈ. આના થકી અમે અમારા જીવનની સમસ્યાઓને, વિચારોને, આદતોને સમજી શક્યા. શિક્ષક હોવા છતાં અમે એક માનવી તરીકે કેટલી બધી ભૂલો સમજશક્તિમાં કરતાં હતાં તેનો ખ્યાલ આવ્યો. અમારાં જીવનમાં કંઈક કરી છૂટવાની ધગશ હતી પણ માર્ગદર્શન ન હતું જે આ કાર્યશાળાએ પૂરું પાડ્યું. બધાનાં મગજને સાચી દિશા તરફ લઈ જનારી આ કાર્યશાળા છે. - વૈશાલીબેન પાટીલ

સ્નેહલસર માટે મારી પાસે શબ્દ નથી. આટલા દિવસમાં જે પ્રેમ, હૂંફ, લાગણી, સમજણ મળ્યાં અને અમને સમજ્યા, અમને સાંભળ્યા, જિંદગીનું સાચું માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું, મનુષ્યમાંથી સાચો માનવ કેવી રીતે બનવું એની પાકી સમજણ તો કરાવી સાથે સાથે અહેસાસ પણ કરાવ્યો. સલાહ તો બધાં જ આપે છે પરંતુ આ સંચાલક એવા છે જેણે જિંદગી જીવવા પ્રત્યેનો આખો અભિગમ બદલી નાખ્યો છે. તો ખરેખર આવા અણમોલ સ્નેહલસર અમને મળ્યા એ જ અમારું સદ્ભાગ્ય છે. - મમતા પટેલ

4th Batch: Sabarkantha Teachers Begin Their Journey with
1st Workshop At Shri. K.K.P. Uma Girls Hostel, Khedbrahma

The teachers of Sabarkantha Dist. began the MHS Part 1 journey in this first workshop organized from 5th-7th June at Shri K.K.P. Uma Girls Hostel, Khedbrahma. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Atul Unagar (Chief Co-ordinator HCJ Movement) and with this he also started journey as facilitator for movement workshops.

Some reflections in crux for the workshop and the facilitator -

આ કાર્યક્રમમાં જોડાયા બાદ મારી વિચારસરણી અને મારા જીવનમાં હકારાત્મક વલણ વિકસ્યું છે. મારા ધ્યેયને લક્ષ્યમાં રાખીને પસંદગી કરવાનો જે અવકાશ છે એ વિશેનું સચોટ જ્ઞાન મળ્યું. કાર્યક્રમના સંચાલક શ્રી અતુલભાઈનો સ્વભાવ એ જ આ કાર્યક્રમની સફળતા છે. તેમનાં દ્વારા મળેલું જ્ઞાન ખૂબ જ ઉપયોગી બન્યું છે. તેમનું વિષય પરનું પ્રભુત્વ અને તેમની સમયપાલનતા ખૂબ જ ચોકસાઈપૂર્વકની હતી. - મયુરકુમાર રાવલ

આ કાર્યશાળા/કાર્યક્રમમાં આખા ભારત દેશનાં બધા જ શિક્ષક મિત્રોને ફરજિયાતપણે સરકારની દરમિયાનગીરી લઈને અચૂક જોડી દેવા જોઈએ, જેથી શિક્ષણના સ્તરમાં અને સંસ્કારોમાં આમૂલ પરિવર્તન લાવી શકાય. - હરેકૃષ્ણ બ્રહ્મભટ્ટ

Anand Dist. Teachers Had 2nd Workshop of 1st Year L3 Course
At Ompuri Ashram, Matar, Kheda

The first batch of Anand Dist. Teachers had their 2nd workshop of the 1st year of Oasis Course. The Mahan Hrudayona SaReGaMaPaDhaNi (MHS) Workshop Part II was organized from 4 -6 May at Ompuri Asharam, Matar, Dist. Kheda. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Kishor Naik (Principal, B.Ed. Collage, Bilimora, Dist. Navsari).

Couple of the reflections from the workshop in brief -

વર્કશોપ ખૂબ જ સુંદર રહયો. જીવન વિકાસની યાત્રામાં વર્કશોપ સંજીવનીનું કામ કરે છે. સંવેદનાઓ અને હિંમતનો ઉપયોગ સમજાયો. વ્યક્તિ વ્યક્તિ વચ્ચેના સંબધો જળવાઈ રહે તેવું રસાયણ મેળવી શકાયું. માનસિક સુખ શોધવાની મંજિલમાં એક કદમ આગળ આવ્યાં. શિક્ષણની ગુણવત્તા સુધારવામાં ઉપયોગી થશે. પરિવારમાં સાથે રહેલાં પાત્રોની સાથે આંતર-વ્યવહારમાં શું કરવું તેની સમજ મળી. બીજાનાં વ્યક્તિત્વને સમજવાનું સરળ બન્યું. સમાજને માર્ગદર્શક બની શકીએ તેવી હિંમત અને ઇચ્છા મળ્યાં. - ગજેન્દ્રસિંહ મહિડા

પુસ્તક વાંચતાં મગજમાં જે ગડમથલ ઊભી થાય છે તે વિશે કિશોરભાઈનું એક વાક્ય સાંભળતાં જ દરેક પ્રશ્નનું નિવારણ થઈ જાય છે. વિચાર, વાણી અને વર્તનમાં એકસૂત્રતા કોઈ દિવ્ય આત્મા જે તમને જીવનપથ બતાવતો હોય તેવો અહેસાસ થાય. વાણીમાં ગજબનું પ્રભુત્વ, ખૂબ મજાનું વ્યક્તિત્વ, નેતૃત્વવાન અને સંવેદનશીલ, કાળજી રાખી, ખૂબ જ સરળતાથી અસરળ વાતો સમજાવનાર. - ભાવનાબેન રાવળ

Navsari Dist. Teachers Underwent 2nd Workshop of Love Series
at Auro University, Surat

Navsari Teachers went through the second workshop of Love Series (2nd Year, L3 Course) from 30th May to 1st June. The workshop was organized at Auro University, Surat and was facilitated by Siddharath Mehta (CEO, Shairu Gems, Surat).

Some reflections from the workshop in brief -

હું અહીંથી સુખી લગ્નજીવનનું ભાથુ લઈ જઉં છું. વ્યક્તિનું આધ્યાત્મિક ઉન્નતિનાં શિખર પર ચઢવા માટેનું પ્રથમ પગથિયું છે લગ્ન - એ હું અહીંથી શીખી. આપણા જૂના વિચારો, જૂની માન્યતાઓ આપણા વર્તમાનને કેવી રીતે અસ્તવ્યસ્ત કરે છે એ શીખવા મળ્યું. ખરેખર લગ્નજીવન શું છે તે શીખવા મળ્યું. લગ્નજીવનનાં પણ તબક્કા હોય અને તે પણ ભાવાત્મક હોય તે આપણા સંબંધોમાં કેવો ભાગ ભજવે છે તે શીખવા મળ્યું. - ઉર્વી ભટ્ટ
