Experts of various subjects and who have love for children & teaching them are specially invited for Dream India Camp as Teachers or Faculties. Though they come to give something to children, it happens in almost all cases that teachers take away more from children. Love they shower on children returns bountiful. 9 people were specially invited for this camp; amongst them were Vishal Bhatt (Research Scholar - Science & Education, Innovation in Science Promotion Foundation, Bangalore), Dhrudip Thakkar (Founder President, United Youth Organization, Vadodara), Dhvani Mankodi (Drama Artist, Rajkot) and Mihir Pathak (Member, United Youth Organization, Vadodara) as Main Faculties & Dr. Suneet Dabke (Waste Management Consultant, Vadodara), Krishna Mistry (Architect, Ahmedabad), Darshan Parghi (Agriculture Consultant, Vadodara) and Jabir Qureshi (Brains Creative, Surat) as Guest Teachers. Mr. Anish Kothari (Partner, Jewelex Group, Mumbai) was invited as special Guest Teacher.

It’s great pleasure for me to be a part of this beautiful family. How love, trust and truthfulness create miracle! How transformation has taken place in children’s life!

I like the relation of teacher and student here. I like the internal struggle of the teacher for child’s learning/growth. The only 'tool' or 'weapon' they use is ‘LOVE’ and that I love the most.

The design of the camp itself is a great highlight of Dream India Camp.

The kind of environment that children feel they are hero, is quite unique. They learn that “Don’t ask what my country has done for me, but ask yourself what you have done and you can do for your country.”

બાળકો પોતે પોતાની જવાબદારી લેતા શીખે. અને પોતે સ્વતંત્ર છે તેનો આનંદ પણ લે. પોતે જ બધું કરે અને જે થાય છે તેના માટે તેઓ કેટલાં જવાબદાર છે તે સમજે. ભૂલો કરે અને ખૂબ સુંદરતાથી શીખે.

Freedom and Responsibilities are unique & encouraging

The freedom and responsibilities given to the faculties and participants are unique and encouraging. I liked and enjoyed the parliament and community processes.

I also liked that very less weight age is given to the demographic factors like age, education etc. Individual always remains in the centre.

Dream India Camp is Platform for Young Oasis Leaders
To learn excellence in everything they do

For teenagers & youths who aspire to be leaders of Oasis Movement, Dream India Camp provides a good platform to learn and sharpen their leadership abilities. In the role of volunteer, manager or teacher, they pass through life changing experiences. 8 youths participated in the camp; amongst them were Tasnim Bharmal (3rd Year, Arts, M.S.Uni., Vadodara), Hasmita Parmar (2nd Year, Arts, M.S.Uni., Vadodara), Farooq Pathan (1st Year, Arts, M.S.Uni., Vadodara), Falguni Mistri (1st year, Commerce, Navsari), Gulapsha Sheikh (1st Year, Commerce, Navsari), Prashant Macwan (1st Year, Commerce, M.S.Uni., Vadodara), Hiral Soni (Std.12, Arts, Vadodara) and Shabana Ansari (Std. 9, Bardoli).

મૅનેજર અને શિક્ષક તરીકે ડ્રીમ ઇન્ડિયા કૅમ્પમાં ભાગ લેનાર ઓએસિસ યુવા બ્રિગેડના સભ્યો પોતાના પ્રતિભાવો વ્યક્ત કરતા કહે છે:

સૌથી વધુ મને બાળકો ગમ્યાં

સૌથી વધુ મને બાળકો ગમ્યાં. તેઓનો ખૂબ સાથ-સહકાર મળ્યો. તેઓ જલદીથી પોતાની ભૂલ સ્વીકારે છે અને એટલી જ જલદીથી શીખે છે. તેઓ પોતે જ પોતાના શિક્ષક તરીકેની ભૂમિકા ભજવે છે. ફક્ત તેઓને એક સાથની જરૂર હોય છે. જે મોટા માણસો નથી કરી શકતા તે નાનાં બાળકો બહુ જ સરસ રીતે કરી શકે છે.

બીજી ટ્રેનિંગમાં ના શીખી તે અહીં મૅનેજર તરીકે શીખી

જે ઘરમાં કે બીજી ટ્રેનિંગમાં ના શીખી તે અહીં મૅનેજર તરીકે શીખી. હવે મારી ભૂલ જણાય કે તરત સુધારવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરું છું. કમ્યૂનિટી બની ત્યારે સમજાયું કે બીજાની તકલીફોથી જ્યારે આપણે વાકેફ નથી હોતા ત્યારે તેમના વિશે કશુંક બોલવાનો કે વિચારવાનો આપણે કોઈ જ હક નથી. બીજાને પ્રેમ આપી પરિવાર સાથે જોડી રાખવાનું મને ગમ્યું.

બાળકો ઉપર વિશ્વાસ મૂકીએ છીએ, તો તેઓ પોતાનું હૃદય આપણી સામે ખુલ્લું મૂકી દે છે

આપણે જ્યારે બાળકો ઉપર વિશ્વાસ મૂકીએ છીએ, તેઓને સાચી રીતે સમજીએ છીએ ત્યારે બાળકો પોતાનું હૃદય આપણી સામે ખુલ્લું મૂકી દે છે. પોતાના જીવનની અઘરામાં અઘરી વાતો, સમસ્યાઓ આપણી સાથે વહેંચે છે અને ઝડપથી શીખે છે. તેઓ સાબિત કરે છે કે તેઓ જવાબદારી ઉઠાવી પોતાની મુશ્કેલીઓ જાતે જ ઉકેલી શકે છે. તેઓને ફક્ત માર્ગદર્શન જોઈએ છે અને જો રસ્તામાં ભટકી જાય તો શીખીને પાછાં પણ વળી જાય છે.

બાળકોને હિંમત આપવામાં ખૂબ શીખવા મળ્યું

મેં પહેલી વાર આટલી જવાબદારી લીધી. બધાને ઘણી જ સારી રીતે સમજી શકી અને મને ખૂબ આનંદ આવ્યો. બાળકોના દુઃખને સમજીને તેમને હિંમત આપવામાં ખૂબ શીખવા મળ્યું.

સતત શીખવતા રહેવું અને આપણે સતત શીખતા રહેવું

બાળકોની આગળ-પાછળ ફરીને સતત શીખવતા રહેવું અને આપણે સતત શીખતા રહેવું – એ અનુભવ ખૂબ જ સરસ રહ્યો. દરેક બાળકમાંથી કંઈક નવું શીખવા મળ્યું. દરેક બાળકની અંદર સત્ય સમજવાની અને અસત્ય સામે લડવાની તાકાત હોય છે અને તેઓ સક્ષમ છે. પાર્લામેન્ટ થકી આ વાત જાણીને આનંદ થયો.

મારો શિક્ષક તરીકેનો પહેલો અનુભવ અદ્ભુત હતો

મારો શિક્ષક તરીકેનો પહેલો અનુભવ અદ્ભુત હતો. સ્વતંત્ર બાળકોની સાથે કામ કરવાની અને તેમને શીખતા શીખવવાની ખૂબ મજા આવી. જે બાળકોને બહાર નિર્ણયશક્તિ વિહોણાં ગણવામાં આવે છે તે જ બાળકો એમની અદાલતમાં એવા નિર્ણયો લે છે જે વખાણવા લાયક હોય છે.
