Oasis Leadership Camp was organised at Oasis Valleys from 30 to 31 July, 2016. The camp was facilitated by Aatmaja Soni. Participants were leaders from Oasis Dream India Camps. 24 participants attended the camp.

Aatmaja Soni (2nd Year B.A., Psychology) is the youngest facilitator-in-process at Oasis. She is the participant of the first batch of Oasis L3 Course for Teenagers. મને લીડરશિપ કૅમ્પમાં બધા છોકરાઓ સાથે ભેગા મળીને સૌની સાથે શેરિંગ કરવાનું ગમ્યું. અંગ્રેજીના નવા નવા શબ્દો જાણવાની અને શહેરનાં બાળકો પાસેથી નવા શબ્દો જાણવાની મઝા આવી. બધાં બાળકો સમજદાર હતાં. મને કૅમ્પમાં રોલ-પ્લે કરવાની મઝા આવી. લીડર બનવાના કેવા ગુણો હોય તે જાણવાની મઝા આવી. - અજય ભોયે, ડાંગ

Viral Patel (Real Estate Developer, Vadodara) is facilitating Oasis L3 Workshop for Hun Chhu Jyotirdhar Abhiyaan for a batch of teachers from Vadodara district. He conducted an orientation meet for 14 teachers on July 30, 2016 at Oasis Valleys.

“અમને તરુણાવસ્થામાં શું કરવું જોઈએ અને શું ન કરવું તેના વિશે જાણવા મળ્યું. પોતાની ખરાબ આદતો સુધારવાના ઉપાયો જાણવા મળ્યા.”
“ગુપ્તાંગોના ભાગને સારી રીતે સાફ કરવા જેથી આપણને ઇન્ફેક્શન ન લાગે.”
“આ કાર્યક્રમ ખૂબ જ સરસ રહ્યો. આપણી બધી જ મુશ્કેલીઓનું નિદાન કે નિવારણ કરવા માટે શરમ વગર જે પણ મુશ્કેલી હોય તે કોઈ ડૉક્ટર કે સલાહકારને કહેવી, જેથી આપણને સારી સલાહ મળી શકે. અને આપણી મૂંઝવણનો અંત આવે. હાઈટ (ઊંચાઈ) અને મૂછના ફણગાનો ઓછો વિકાસ થાય તો ટૅન્શન લેવાની જરૂર નથી. દરેકની કિશોરાવસ્થા જુદી જુદી હોય છે તેથી મારી મુશ્કેલીનું નિદાન (નિવારણ) થયું અને મારી મૂંઝવણ દૂર થઈ.”
“નેહાબેન, હું તમને પ્રૉમિસ કરું છું કે માસિકની માહિતી હું પણ લઈશ અને મારી સાથે રહેતી વિદ્યાર્થિનીઓને પણ શીખવીશ.”

ASHA Team Bengaluru trained new Health Teachers (facilitators), who now take ahead the journey of Health and Hygiene Education to the schools of Bannerghatta and Basweshwarnagar. The team is guided by Neeta Sanghvi (C.E.O., Oasis ASHA, Bengaluru). Every week ASHA classes are conducted in schools and children are educated on Health and Hygiene topics like My Precious Body, Worm Infestation, Anaemia, Oral Hygiene, Adolescence, etc.
