Oasis South Gujarat Region organised Life Camp Facilitator's Training on 23-24 February, 2017 which was facilitated by Hiral Patel (Trustee, Oasis) and Pratiksinh Parmar (Project Coordinator). 10 volunteers undertook the responsibility of contributing their time for Life Camps. The training was organised at Oasis Friendship Home, Surat.

Anand) and Malpur (Dist. Vadodara). The camp was organised from 31 January to 2 February, 2017 at Oasis Valleys.

“સંચાલકો અમને, બાળકોને સમજી શકે છે. અમારી પરિસ્થિતિ તેઓ સમજે છે. તેમણે અમને સરખી રીતે જીવન કેવી રીતે જીવવું જોઈએ એ એકદમ સારી રીતે સમજાવ્યું. એ અમારા જેવડા બનીને અમને સમજાવે છે. એ લોકો બાળકોનું મહત્વ સમજે છે.” - આયુષ રોકડ
“અમને બંને ભાઈઓ ખૂબ ગમ્યા કારણ કે તેમણે અમને ખૂબ સરસ રીતે સમજાવ્યું, પ્રોત્સાહન આપ્યું અને ડરમાંથી બહાર કાઢ્યા.” - રિદ્ધિ ગજેરા

“આ શિબિરમાં મને અમારો પરિચય આપવાની અને આત્મવિશ્વાસ રાખવાની બાબત ખૂબ જ ગમી. પરિચય કરતી વખતે બધાએ પોતાની અંગત વાતો બધા સાથે શેઅર કરી હતી. અને આત્મવિશ્વાસ બાબતે, પહેલાં મારો આત્મવિશ્વાસ બહુ ઓછો હતો અને શિબિરમાં આવ્યા પછી એ વધ્યો છે. માટે મને આ બંને બાબતો ખૂબ જ ગમી હતી.” - ભૂમિકા વણકર
“શિબિરના સંચાલક અવનિદીદી અને બિનીતભાઈએ અમને લોકોને ખૂબ સારી સ્પીચ આપી હતી. અવનિદીદીનો સ્વભાવ શાંત હતો. તે અમને બહુ સારી રીતે સમજાવતા હતા. દીદી અને ભાઈ અમારા ઉપર ક્યારેય ગુસ્સો કરતાં નહોતાં. બધા સાથે શાંતિથી વાત કરતાં હતાં.” - બંસી કોરિયા
“આ શિબિરના સંચાલક બિનીતભાઈ અને અવનિદીદી બધાને આત્મવિશ્વાસ વધારવામાં ખૂબ મદદ કરે છે. આ કૅમ્પ અમને સ્કુલ કરતાં ખૂબ જ અલગ લાગ્યો છે. અમને દીદી અને ભાઈ ક્યારેય ટોકતાં નહીં. મેં ક્યારેય તેમને ગુસ્સે થતાં પણ જોયા નહીં. આ દીદી અને ભાઈને હું ક્યારેય નહીં ભૂલી શકું.” - પૂજા પારેખ

Falguni Desai (Principal, Shree Naranlala School, Navsari) and Sangeeta Patel facilitated first camp for 38 children and Mital Patel (Free Lance Designer, Surat) facilitated second camp for 30 children. |

“શિબિરના સંચાલક મિતલદીદી અમને ખૂબ ગમ્યા અમને એમ જ લાગ્યું કે તેઓ અને અમે સરખા જ છીએ. તેમની પાસે જેટલું પણ જ્ઞાન છે તે અમને જણાવ્યું અને અમને સમજ પડી જાય તેવી ભાષા અને તેવી રીતે અમને શીખવ્યું કે આપણે આપણું ધ્યેય કઈ રીતે પ્રાપ્ત કરી શકીએ.” - ધ્વનિ પ્રજાપતિ

December, 2016 organised 2 Oasis Life Camps in South Gujarat region. First camp was from 10 to 12 December which was facilitated by Purvi Naik for 35 children of Shrimad Rajchandra Prathmik Vidyalaya at Navsari. Second camp was from 19 to 21 December which was facilitated by Purvi Naik and Shail Vakil for 45 children of Sandip Desai Primary School at Navsari.
