Our Dearest You,
Women Are Cowards!
Yes! I myself am a woman and I believe in this statement. Why does a woman need empowerment all the time? Isn’t enough enough? It’s time to awaken your inner self NOW!
Women are the most beautiful and powerful creation of the Almighty, but today we say, ‘Why Am I a Woman? So much pain to endure, so many problems to face!’
Is it so because we don’t love and believe in our own selves? We have immense power to live an independent life without any fears of society or pressure from anybody. Just believing in oneself is the most important thing.
Don’t think your son can’t go to school without your support. Don’t think your husband can’t cook food for his own self. Stop justifying your own weaknesses! They can do everything if you let them struggle and learn without you for some time.
Stop thinking about society and its chauvinist rules. Be courageous enough to question all the unfair norms you face.
Start seeing yourself as a Human, not as a helpless woman. You are born to live your life. Be fearless! Be flawless!
Promise us that-
You will live your dreams, not sacrifice them for your parents, husband or children.
You will fight against all the injustice happening with you and around you.
You will take your own decisions independently, not succumbing to force by others.
You will live a life that gives you immense satisfaction, not of regrets.
You will always be proud of yourself, not consider yourself a lesser self than men.
Be Courageous. It’s one of those places still left uncrowded.

તા. ૮ માર્ચ ૨૦૨૦ ઈન્ટરનેશનલ વુમન્સ ડે” – સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદે જેમ દેશના યુવાનોને આહ્વાન કર્યું હતું તેમ આ વિશ્વ મહિલા દિને ઓએસિસના યુવાનોએ મહિલાઓને કહ્યું કે, તમે કાયર છો, કાયરતા છોડો!
આ દિવસે ઓએસિસ નારી-સામર્થ્ય એક્સપ્રેસ ૨૦૨૦નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. ઓએસિસના યુવાનો વડોદરા શહેરમાં એક બસ લઈને ફરી વળ્યા. અને લગભગ ૮૦૦થી પણ વધુ લોકો પાસે હિંમતવાન થવા માટે વચનપત્ર પર સહી લેવામાં આવી.
ઓએસિસના યુવાનોનું આહ્વાન છે ભારત દેશની નારીને - સમાજના આંધળા નિયમો પ્રમાણે જીવવાનું બંધ કરો. બધી જ ગેરવાજબી રૂઢિઓને પ્રશ્નો કરો. તમે તમારું જીવન જીવવા માટે જન્મ્યા છો. તમારા અસ્તિત્વની જવાબદારી લો. રસોઈ, પરિવાર, રૂઢિઓમાં પોતાના સ્વપ્નાંંનું ગળું નહીં ઘોંંટો.
સ્ત્રીઓમાં સમાજના કોઈ પણ ડર વિના કે કોઈ વ્યક્તિના દબાણ વિના સ્વાવલંબી જીવન જીવવાનું પુષ્કળ સામર્થ્ય છે જ. પોતાના પર ભરોસો કરો અને તમારા પરિવારને પણ આત્મનિર્ભર બનાવો.

"બુદ્ધી અને આત્મસન્માન ગીરવે મૂક્યાં છે? "
"આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય મહિલા દિવસે હું અને મારા મિત્રો જાહેર સ્થળોએ લોકોને પ્રશ્નો પૂછી, બધી મહિલાઓ અને પુરુષો પાસે પાંચ વચનો લેવડાવી રહ્યા હતા. એ દરમિયાન હું કેટલાક લોકોને મળી જે એવું કહી રહ્યા હતા કે, "આ બધી રૂઢિઓ છે એટલે આવું જ કરવું પડે, કોઈ બીજો રસ્તો નથી." ત્યારે મેં તેમને જવાબ આપતા કહ્યું કે, "તે સમયે તેઓએ આ રૂઢિઓ બનાવી હતી, તો શું આ સમયે હું મારી પોતાની રૂઢિઓ સમજી-વિચારીને ના બનાવી શકું? આંધળું અનુકરણ કરવાની શું જરૂર છે?"
આ સાથે જ મારી નજર એક છોકરા અને છોકરી પર પડી. છોકરો છોકરીને પંપાળી રહ્યો હતો અને છોકરી રડી રહી હતી. મેં તે છોકરીને કહ્યું, "તું કાયર છે! આત્મસન્માન જેવું કંઈ છે કે નહિ? ઉપર જો અને રડવાનું બંધ કર! આ છોકરાને તો તારા જેવી બીજી ઘણી મળી જશે, એ તો ફક્ત તારી લાગણીઓ સાથે રમી રહ્યો છે અને તું એને રમવા દે છે. તારા જેવી કાયર છોકરીઓના લીધે મોટા ભાગના છોકરાઓ એવું શીખી ગયા છે કે છોકરીઓ બહુ લાગણીશીલ હોય છે, તેમને પંપાળીને આપણે તેમને આસાનીથી પટાવી શકીએ છીએ. અને મૂર્ખ છોકરીઓને પોતાને તો આત્મસન્માન જેવું કંઈ હોતું જ નથી, તો બીજા ક્યાંથી સન્માન આપવાના? જો તું કાયર ન હોય તો મને આ પાંચ પ્રોમિસ આપ, છે હિંમત આપવાની? તો જ સહી કરજે."
અંતે તેણે પોતાના આંસુ લુછીને પ્રોમિસ આપ્યા. મને એક છોકરીને ખાઈમાં પડતા, બચાવવાની લાગણી થઇ. સ્ત્રી મહાકાળી અને દુર્ગા છે, રમકડું કે ટાઇમપાસનું સાધન નહિ!"
