Dr. Harsha Sodha is seen explaining the new syllabus of ASHA Program for the academic year 2010-11 during the first orientation meeting of ASHA - Bangalore Team at their new office premises. There has been considerable changes in the syllabus for making it more colorful and making the learning process full of fun. Dr. Neha Vakharia, Founder, ASHA Project, announced their decision to undertake 10 more schools at Hosur under ASHA program. 25 volunteers attended the meeting which was held on 28th June, 2010. They all shared their news of the last quarter and the meeting ended after watching a short documentary "patri par bachpan" to sensitize the newcomers. |

| At the onset of the new academic year, Oasis launched Life Classes in more than 15 selected schools of Gujarat. It has become instantly popular with the students. Alongwith Life Classes for children, Oasis has begun Life Classes for teachers also, as part of the overall vision of IYLDP. Oasis (Bangalore) has gone a step further by inviting corporate and business houses to adopt municipal/ government schools in their vicinity for providing health education to the underprivileged children. As part of this project, ASHA volunteers train the employees of the interested organisation to take up Health classes in these schools. We look forward to more tie-ups with different sections of the society to help Asha reach every underprivileged child in their region. ~ Mehul Panchal |

On 2nd July, Oasis (Bangalore) conducted training of 'Health & Hygiene Education' for employees of GE, Bangalore. They will be undertaking ASHA program for the Govt/Corporation Schools in the vicinity of their residences or company.
