આ વર્ગમાં મારી લાગણીઓને જીવંત કરી છે “આ સેમિનારથી મારું મન હળવું થઇ ગયું. મેં વિચારેલું પણ નહોતું કે મારા મિત્રોએ આટલું સુખ કે દુઃખ પોતાનામાં સંતાડેલું છે. હું આ લાઇફ ક્લાસથી મારા જીવનને નવો વળાંક આપી શકીશ અને તમારાં જેવા મિત્રો પણ બનાવી શકીશ. ‘જીવન-વર્ગ’ નામના આ વર્ગમાં તમે મારી લાગણીઓને જીવંત કરી છે.” |

"In my work with Oasis I have learned that if I want to grow I must take responsibilities and be willing to come out of my comfort zones. In nature everything grows. Like a plant if we take the path of growth we are saying yes to life," said Manishaben during the function (29th July, 2010) when she took over the responsibility as Chief Project Coordinator, ASHA, Bangalore. All members of ASHA Bangalore team welcomed her with much affection. |

Teaching is the best way of Learning and vice versa. Participants of Oasis L3 Graduation workshop series at Surat were invited to conduct the course for the school teachers of Surat and thereby volunteer their time and energy for the cause of propagation of character education in the society. Around a dozen friends have volunteered to become honorary facilitators and we warmly welcome them all with gratitude. Let's make a resolution on 64th Independence Day of our country to free our children from the burden of 'getting educated' and make learning a very joyous experience. As part of Character Building movement, series of 10 workshops based on Mahaan Hrudayona SaReGaMaPaDhaNi for school teachers have been initiated by a team of new facilitators in Surat. From last month, 4 facilitators, Nipun Shah, Minal Shah, Dr. Divya Sachdev, Pinal Shah, have begun their year long project in the schools of Little Love, Ratnasagar Vidyalaya, Nalanda and Hasta Phool school, respectively. Minal Shah has also started a series for the staff of Dr Sachdeva Eye Hospital at Surat. (News in detail will follow in our next newsletter.)
