At Oasis Valleys : Life Camp Goes Out Of Four Walls

Empathizing With Rural Life & Occupations Inspires Students

Being More Sensitive, Responsible and Compassionate

Students of Fountain Head School, Surat, had their Life Camp at Oasis Valleys during 13 to 15th April'12. Once again, it turned out to be a very thrilling experience for all of them. This time, as part of their program, they visited Chanod, a village near Oasis Valleys. There, they met small shopkeepers & rural craftsmen. Students interviewed them and tried to know about their lives & how they make their living. At some places, students even tried their hands on machinery these people use. The last person they met was a young, poor girl who was begging on the streets. It was a wonderful learning experience.

23 students from Fountain Head School participated in the Life Camp organized at Oasis Valleys. Freedom to be themselves gives them a very conducive atmosphere for learning most important lessons of their lives. The joy & 'masti'(excitement) seen in the above photograph above, reflects the camp's success. The camp was facilitated by Sheeba Nair, Trustee, OASIS.

What Missed Out In Educational System,

They Found In Life Camp At Oasis Valleys

During 23rd to 25th April'12, 43 students from Shree Swaminarayan Academy, Surat, Std. 9, participated in Oasis Life Camp at Oasis Valleys. In the realm of nature and atmosphere of freedom, they learnt about Self Confidence, Being Positive, Taking Choices in Life, Aiming High & How to achieve their dreams as well as importance of effective communication and team work. During the sessions, hidden talents of many came out. They laughed, sang songs, danced, acted and celebrated 'Life' in the most joyful atmosphere. It was a very exciting experience for many of them. The camp was facilitated by Mayuri Gohil, Oasis Life Camp Facilitator.

Oasis Life Camp For Satyanarayan Vidhyalay, Vadodara - Std. 9

Oasis Life Camp was organized at Oasis Valleys for Students of 9 Std, Satyanarayan Vidhyalay, Vadodara during 21,22 March'12. 57 Students participated in the camp which was facilitated by Praksha Desai, Oasis Life Camp Facilitator.

Oasis Life Camp was organized for some 54 students of Std. 11, Satyanarayan Vidhyalay, Vadodara on 17th & 18 March'12 at Oasis Valleys. The Camp was facilitated by Pallavi Raulji, Trustee, OASIS.
