Teacher’s Self-duty Awareness Campaign

In 1st Phase, 71 Teachers Of Gujarat Take Lead
To Join 4-Year Oasis L3 Course

Collage above: During the months of April & May 2013, 71 teachers (mainly from Navsari Dist.) joined the first phase of the campaign, participated in their 1st workshop of the 4 year course in four different batches facilitated by Sheeba Nair & Sanjiv Shah, Mahadevbhai Desai, Parag Shah and Siddharth Mehta respectively.

Launched in October 2012 from Navsari (Gujarat), an Innovative Training Experiment to make 10000 teachers of Gujarat, Aware & Active - "Let us be Torch-bearers, A Campaign for Awareness & Fulfillment of Teacher's Self-duty", is a joint project undertaken by Shree Sayaji Vaibhav Public Library (Navsari), Shree Narendra Heeralal Parekh Gnandham (Navsari) & Oasis.

The main objectives of the campaign are -

1. Character Building & professinal preparedness of 10000 teachers of Gujarat.
2. To prepare these teachers to bring sweeping revolutionary changes in Gujarat & India by being part of the education system.
3. To generate such dedicated teachers who can contribute their efforts to the service of our motherland Inda and offer great personalities to the world.
4. To contribute to the character building of the students, nurture ideal citizens and consequently provide a new direction to the social development & nation building process through the collective efforts of these teachers.
5. To prepare teacher who can be torch-bearers & who can continue this campaign.

The Program -

Working on Self-development & Character Building Education with hundreds of professionals, youths & children for last 23 years, Oasis has developed a revolutionary course for Self-transformation. This course, named as 'The Philosophy, Art & Science of Living, Loving & Learning', is a series of workshops for total 40 days spread over 4-5 years. Rated by participants - from accross the country and from some parts of Europe & USA - as one of the best course on Self-development; it has been taken as basis for Social Change & Nation Building through radical changes in our education system.
Based on this unique course, a special course of 40 days, spread over 4 years (i.e. 10 days/year) has been designed for the campaign. Workshops of 3 days will be organized every 3/4 months. Participants will go through the series in batches of 20-25 each.

કાર્યશાળા જે ઉચ્ચ હેતુસર યોજવામાં આવી હતી તેને અનુલક્ષીને ખૂબ જ સરસ સમજ અપાઈ. મારો જીવન પ્રત્યેનો દૃષ્ટિકોણ બદલાયો અને વધુ મહત્વાકાંક્ષા અને ઉત્સાહસભર થઈ હું જાઉં છું.

જીવન જીવવાની કળા એટલે ઓએસિસ(ની કાર્યશાળા)

હવે પછીનું જીવન, વર્તન, વાણી, વ્યવહાર પહેલાં કરતાં જુદા પ્રકારનાં હશે. સદૈવ સકારાત્મક વિચાર અને સકારાત્મક દૃષ્ટિ તથા અભિગમ રાખવા માટેની સાચી તાલીમ મળી. ‘વિશ્વ બંધુત્વ ભાવના’ અંગેની વાતો તો બહુ થાય છે પરંતુ અહીં ખરેખર વાતો નહીં, ભાષણ નહીં, પરંતુ આવા પ્રકારની ભાવના ઉત્પન્ન થયાનો અનુભવ થયો. હવે પછીનાં વર્ષોમાં ખરેખર સમાજ અને દેશ માટે કાર્ય કરવાની તક મળશે.

The workshop is an Asset. Well begun is half done. The beginning itself is so beautiful that anxiety has reached to extreme height for the future programs. The program itself is more interesting and inspiring. It develops strong bond or feelings amongst the trainees which will definitely help to become a complete person (human being).

કાર્યશાળા જીવંત રહી

• કાર્યશાળામાં ભાગ લેનાર સહુ પોતાના વિચારો-પ્રતિભાવો મુક્તપણે રજૂ કરી શક્યા.
• કાર્યશાળામાં થયેલ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ સમયબદ્ધ રીતે ગતિશીલ બની રહી, સમયનો વ્યય થતો હોય એવું સહેજ પણ અનુભવાયું નહીં.
• કાર્યશાળામાં પ્રાયોગિક-સૈદ્ધાંતિક ચર્ચાનાં તમામ પાસાંઓ આવરી લેવાયાં, બતાવવામાં આવેલ ચલચિત્રો ખૂબ અસરકારક રહ્યાં. કાર્યશાળામાં વિષયવસ્તુ, સિદ્ધાંતો, પ્રસંગકથા, દૃષ્ટાંતો, પ્રાયોગિક કાર્ય- એવી જરૂરી તમામ બાબતોનો સાયુજ્યપૂર્ણ ઉપયોગ કરવામાં આવ્યો.

આ કાર્યશાળા જીવન જીવવાની એનર્જી પૂરી પાડે છે

Never experienced such open and free environment

I have never experienced such open and free environment. All my emotions & questions have come out. Paragbhai, very carefully and painstakingly listened to them and helped me to analyze them. 8 hours for 3 days and still I was hungry and wanted to learn more.

જીવનની ઘણી બધી દિશાઓ સ્પષ્ટ થઈ

અત્યાર સુધી એક જાતના અજ્ઞાનમાં જીવતા હતા. આજે ખરા અર્થમાં એવું લાગે છે કે આ ત્રણ દિવસો જીવનભર મારા માટે, મારા પરિવારજનો, મિત્રો, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે મહત્ત્વનાં પુરવાર થશે. અને હવે પછી જ્યારે સંપૂર્ણ કોર્સ પૂરો કરીશું ત્યારે કેટલું પરિવર્તન આવશે એ વિચાર માત્રથી ઉત્તેજિત થઈ જવાય છે. અગ્રિમતા પ્રમાણે આપણા મનોબળથી કામ કરવાનું છે તો સફળતા મળવાની જ છે. આપણે જ આપણા વિધાતા છીએ.

હું ખૂબ જ ગર્વની લાગણી અનુભવું છું

• આવી કાર્યશાળામાં આવી શકી તે માટે હું ખૂબ જ ગર્વની લાગણી અનુભવું છું.
• બીજાએ આ કાર્યશાળામાં જોડાવું જ જોઈએ એમ માનું છું.

ખૂબ જ સફળ કાર્યશાળા!!!

ખૂબ જ ઉપયોગી અને આંખ ઉઘાડનાર કાર્યશાળા. વ્યક્તિને ઉપદેશ આપ્યા વિના એની વર્તનતરાહ(Behavioural Pattern)ને બદલવા મજબૂર કરે એવી કાર્યશાળા. દરેક Participantને ઊઘડવાની પૂરી તક મળે છે અને દરેક Participantનો પૂરતો ખ્યાલ રાખવામાં આવ્યો. જીવન-મૂલ્યોનું સિંચન કોઈ પણ ભાર વિના થયું. પ્રશંસાના કોઈ પણ શબ્દો ઓછા પડે તેમ છે.
