“શિબિરમાં અમે શીખ્યા કે આપણે દરેક બાબતમાં ક્યારેય હિંમત હારવી જોઈએ નહીં અને આપણે નીડર થઈને સામનો કરવો જોઈએ.”
“શિબિરમાંથી શીખવા મળ્યું કે મહેનત જ વધારે કામ આવે, નસીબ કામ ન આવે. આપણે નસીબ પર ભરોસો રાખીને બેસી ન રહેતાં મહેનત કરવી જોઈએ.”
“શિબિરમાં મને સૌથી વધુ ફાર્મ ટુર સ્પર્શી ગઈ કારણ કે તેમાં વિવિધ જાતની શાકભાજીની ખેતી કઈ રીતે કરવી, પર્યાવરણની જાળવણી, વર્મી કમ્પોસ્ટ વગેરે ખેતીમાં મદદરૂપ ઉપયોગી બાબતો શીખવા મળી.” |
“આ શિબિરમાં રમાડેલી ડિબેટની રમત મારા હૃદયને સ્પર્શી ગઈ કારણ કે તેના દ્વારા સમજાયું કે મહેનતનું ફળ મીઠું હોય છે.”
“શિબિરમાં શીખ્યા કે પોતાના પર કેવી રીતે વિશ્વાસ કરવો અને કોઈ બીજા જે કહી જાય પણ અમે સારા જ છીએ, I am the best અને પોતાના જીવનમાં કશુંક કરીને જ બતાવીશું અને અમારા સ્વપ્નો પૂરા કરીને જ બતાવીશું એવો અમને અમારા પર વિશ્વાસ છે જ.”
“શિબિરના સંચાલક પ્રક્ષાદીદી ખૂબ સ્વીટ હતા. તેમણે અમને ફરિયાદનો મોકો આવવા ન દીધો હતો કારણ કે તે સારી રીતે જ શીખવતા અને વર્તન પણ સારું રાખતા. તે અમને જે રીતે શીખવતા તે રીતે અમને કોઈ ટીચર્સે નથી શીખવ્યું.” |
“શિબિરમાં અમારો stage fear દૂર થયો અને self confidence વધ્યો છે કારણકે અમને આ બંને દીદી પ્રોત્સાહન આપીને અમારો stage fear દૂર કર્યો છે.અમે ગમે તેટલી મુશ્કેલીમાં અમારી મહેનતથી અમારા સ્વપ્ના પૂર્ણ કરીશું.”

When I hugged them all, they got happy Kids of Samari School were from rural background. They had lots of curiosity and enthusiasm as always. They were excited about a class in which there were ‘No teachers’ and ‘No students’, all were equal. When I asked them to set their own ‘Rules’ and decide their punishments, they couldn’t believe! When I gave my introduction, they got surprised. I was a 'teacher' who would not enforce anything; I would never beat them and I would understand their feelings. When I hugged them all, at the end, they got happy. There was the divine joy which I was dying to see in their eyes. I love every child મારું સ્વપ્ન જીવન શિબિર લેવાનું હતું. દરેક શિબિરમાંથી કંઈક ને કંઈક શીખવા મળ્યું છે. છેલ્લે (ઓએસિસની શિબિર થકી) પ્રેમ શું છે? - એ જાણ્યા પછી બધું જ બદલાઈ ગયું. ત્યાં સુધી હું મારા પ્રૉબ્લેમને લઈને પરેશાન રહેતી હતી. હું બાળકોને એક નકારાત્મકતા સામે ૧૦ વાર હકારાત્મક બોલવું એમ શીખવું છું, એ હું મારી જાત સાથે કરતી થઈ, જેનાથી મારામાં આત્મવિશ્વાસ વધ્યો. બે શિબિર લીધા પછી મને એવું થઇ ગયું કે મને આવડી ગયું. પરંતુ દરેક શિબિરમાં ચેલેન્જ મળતી, જેનાથી સમજી કે પૂરી જિંદગી શીખતાં જ રહેવું પડે છે. આજે પણ મને બાળકોની શિસ્તને લઈને મૂંઝવણ થાય છે. પણ એ અંગે ઘણા અંશે પ્રશ્નો પૂછતી, કહેતી થઈ છું. છેલ્લા ૩ કૅમ્પ ને લઈને હું ખૂબ જ ખુશ છું. સેઈન્ટ જોસેફ શાળાના ૧૧મા ધોરણનાં બાળકોની શિબિર લેવાનો હિરલ સાથેનો અનુભવ સુંદર રહ્યો. બાળકોમાં ઘણી સમજ હતી. એમનાં સપનાને લઈને પણ જાગૃત હતાં. ન્યૂઝપેપર આર્ટિકલમાં પણ ખૂબ ઊંચા વિચાર હતા. Looking forward to another Life camp The students of St. Joseph School were very well disciplined and respectful. Their level of understanding was very good and the best part was that each and every student had come with the intention to learn and every child did all the activities. Initially most of them were shy but the next day by noon everybody did come up in the front to share their experience about the Life Camp! It's amazing to see kids transform so soon and I am proud that I am a part of such a wonderful process.
