No Flashy Slides. Just Real Life.

Few Reflections from the participants:

No Flashy PPTs, No unrelatable examples, No false promises – But simple terms, ideas which we all can quickly relate to and exercises which are deeply engaging.

Usually, all the trainings try to teach you certain things such as principles, procedures etc. But this program has tried to remold ourselves into a better & effective human being. The way of interconnections and introspection were very unique. The problem solving of real-life problem was very much effective.

It enlightened my inner self and helped in recognising my real Potentials... It is a very Unique and very Practical program. This program should be arranged for every individual in this world. I would like to spread this workshop in my family.

Corporate & Business Houses Taste Oasis Workshop

24 Facilitators took 12 Workshops for Staff and Management Groups of various Corporates and Business Houses across Southern and Western India as their Pay-It-Forward.
Crux of Reflections from the participants:
The knowledge is not only deep; it opens all the Blocks of your thoughts... This program helps us to live a new life and to think at a different level... This workshop gave a different perspective to look at many things. The material and knowledge provided will, definitely be useful for lifetime... It was a very in-depth workshop that made everyone look inside themselves. It also helped to know each other.
Irrespective of any other factors, everyone can benefit from this workshop. It helps know yourself much more than one can imagine! It was surely an Eye-Opening experience which gave me a Road Map of my Goals and Life... Honestly, I would say that this workshop creates a Break-through in my life. It helps me think differently which yoga classes and big universities could not do... In day-to-day work we forget to be Kind and Respectful. This program reminded that we all are Human.
What happens when those who receive transformation
Choose to pass it on...

First-Time Facilitators, Lifelong Learnings
My first experience as a Facilitator was very grounding and gratifying. Listening to the dreams/ stories of the participants I realised the privileges I get to live with.  Facilitating this workshop was a personal challenge that I had taken up which was way out of my comfort zone.I realised that all of their (participants) dreams/ aspirations were to be able to live close to their families. It dawned upon me very harshly, that to be able to see your family everyday is a luxury many dream of- one which some of us rather take for granted.
~ Shaili Kastia
I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the workshop and am grateful for this opportunity. Jatinbhai's insights during our discussions in between helped me expand my perception about module, topics and delivery. This time for the first time I felt and understood what facilitation beyond module is...Also I relived the moments of my workshop days where I had touched the depths. And saw what role it has played in my life through all these years! Truly Grateful and Happy:innocent:

~ Mital Patel
I wanted to grow through this process and experience what it really means to be a facilitator. Since this was my first time, I knew it would not be completely comfortable. Yet, for the first time in my life, I didn't experience stage fear.
Sitting on the facilitator’s side gave me a completely different perspective. I realised how much detailing goes into conducting a workshop. While I may have known this earlier at an intellectual level, doing it myself helped me truly feel and understand it.
~ Jatin Patel
My biggest challenge was managing time, as I was simultaneously working on my MBA project and internal assessments with strict deadlines. What I enjoyed the most was connecting with the participants, especially when they shared their personal stories.
Also, I felt truly proud of myself for traveling independently for a workshop. The experience gave me a deep sense of confidence and a renewed feeling of independence.

~ Prachi Lalwani
The experience for me was very unique. "The best way to learn is to teach" I experienced it to the core. It was my birthday on th first day of the workshop. I felt very elated to be able to do a PIF workshop. My joy and satisfaction were at the next level.
In the process of teaching there was a great learning rather things got imbibed very well.

~ Dipan Choksey
Before the workshop, I was quite nervous. I was wondering if the participants would be interested in the workshop or not. However, due to the sharings that happened on Day 2, everyone really got motivated. We were very skeptical whether everyone would show-up on Day 3, a Sunday, but to our surprise we had 100% participation! This was the highlight for me. Something must have shifted in them, to really sacrifice their holiday and come for the workshop.

~ Khushi Mehta
I recognise more the need to keep the day before the workshop free of any other engagements. I had firmly refused  to engage in an important and critical meeting the night before travel in order to prepare for the workshop. This was contrary to my nature and it was a learning process to say no as well – something I struggle with often.

~ Manish Sheth

I was able to complete the workshop properly and really enjoyed the whole process.
It was good to see the workshop from a different set of eyes and understand the core reason behind it.
It also gave me a good refresher about all the activities and exercises because I was young when I did it first.

~ Dixita Shah
If I smile the world smiles back and I feel at peace that I am being myself. This is a big takeaway.
Throughout the workshop I was listening to them, trying to get in their shoes, smile gently and sometimes 32 teeth smile was also on my face. I felt they could connect with me because of this.

~ Shreeda Shah
If I had to sum up the entire experience, it would be: humbling, joyful, and deeply heart-touching. The joy of sharing knowledge and, in the process, touching people’s hearts is something truly special.
I would love to participate in the PIF as much as possible . The vision behind PIF is truly inspiring. I hope and pray that it continues to grow and that the light of OASIS reaches as many people as possible.

Lighter Moments during Workshops
Gujarati Fumble Tumble...
As our participants' comfort language was Gujarati, Khushi and I kept flipping through the MHS book, desperately trying to find Gujarati translations for important words. Sometimes, even we struggled to understand what we were reading.
While drawing the roadmap on the whiteboard, I somehow created a brand new language by mixing Gujarati, Hindi, and English in one explanation. The participants noticed immediately—and that unexpected multilingual performance earned us a good laugh.

~ Rushil & Khushi at Ankit Gems
Forced presence turned to joyful participation...
We were initially told that everyone had volunteered to attend the workshop—only for a few participants to confess later, very honestly and very cheerfully, that they had actually been forced to come.
Thankfully, this confession came with big smiles and the reassurance that they were now enjoying themselves. The room erupted in laughter, and it was a perfect sign of how their feelings about the workshop had completely changed over the days.
