Oasis Launches Series of Online Guest Sessions...
It’s been 32 years since Dr. Rani Bang and her husband, Dr. Abhay Bang, dedicated their lives to the social and educational upliftment of the lowest of the low, in Maharashtra’s tribal district of Gadchiroli.

Dr. Rani was, in fact, the only gynaecologist in the district when she started working there. She did the first cesarean surgery in the area.

Glimpses of Achievements & Awards:  


Dr. Rani Bang and Dr. Abhay Bang have been honoured with more than 70 awards so far. Including the prestigious Padmashri in 2018 by Government of India. 
  • Maharashtra Bhushan Award
  • Mumbai has awarded Honoris Causa to Rani Bang.
  • The Lancet has honoured the couple as - "The Pioneers of Health Care in Rural India. "

At Oasis, there are a number of programs that are designed for girls. Saamarthya is one such project, meant to encourage and empower girls, and train them to excel in every aspect of life.

Programs like Life Camps, Love Camps and Dream India Camps are organized for girls to be independent – financially, intellectually and emotionally. 

These programs work around Gender Sensitization & Equality, and Self & Community Leadership skills, with an aim to nurture future women leaders!
