Who was Nachiketa?
The inspiring story of Nachiketa, a small 10-year old boy, is narrated in the Upanishads, one of the oldest and most revered Indian scriptures. He is said to be one of the first true notable seekers of life.
Nachiketa is modeled for his spirited rejection of material desires, which are ephemeral, all for his single-minded pursuit of the path of self-realisation.
