Let's have a glance to the highlights of camp...
Feeling Proud of my Self…

Thank you Oasis for making me strong, and for teaching me friendship. This camp has changed my life and I’m feeling proud of myself as a good daughter. Thank you for giving me opportunity to become a leader.

Mabiya Jan, Budgam
They made me a good human being...

Dilshada Ahad, Budgam
Women can also be independent...

I felt very happy. We had a lot of fun together, made so many new friends from different districts. I learnt that we women can also be independent; we do not need to be dependent on others. I will participate in all Oasis Camps now.

Mandeep Kour, Srinagar
I want to work for poor people and I will...

I am glad to get the opportunity of being change maker. Today I feel I have achieved something in my life. I think the goal of my life is to become successful so I can serve others. I want to work for poor people and I will do it.

Zainab Afzal, Baramulla
If you think you can, you can...

My feeling of becoming a change maker, is like a person gets something that never gets anything. This opportunity is wonderful. I never thought I’ll get this opportunity at this age. This is not only opportunity but a way of becoming an example for all.

Seerat Aslam, Baramulla
I realized about my capabilities...

It makes me confident and strong that I can make people aware  about those things which are damaging our society. This feeling made me realize my capabilities and about those abilities which were unknown to me.

Ainoor Khan, Srinagar
Camp was conducted by 4 young Trustees of Oasis
Participants' Reflections about Facilitators
I can’t forget them in my whole life...

I love all the didis because they have taught us, listened to us and they all were very friendly. They also inspired us by giving a whole brief of their hard times of life. The special thing in them is their ‘Humanity’. They all are making our world societies the best societies. I can’t forget them in my whole life.

Seerat Mushtaq, Ganderbal
I’m feeling very happy to have 4 sisters...

For the facilitators I can say that they have treated us as they were our own sisters. I don’t have any sister but 1st time in my life I’m feeling very happy to have 4 sisters. They motivated & encouraged us in every step. These 5 days were very memorable  for me.

Zainab Afzal, Baramulla
Their stories inspired me a lot...

They were very friendly, they helped me in everything, their smile made my day, their stories inspired me a lot, I never ever thought that they are my teachers, I always thought that they were my elder sisters. I hope that I’ll become a person like them.

Ifshana Salam, Ganderbal
