Oasis International Partnership Convention 2024 brought 14 Educators from 12 Countries together into one Learning Community - Oases Friendship International (OFI) - with a core objecitve of continuously learn the universal principles of Living-Loving-Learning (L3) and spread them around one's region as Pay-it-Forward (PIF).
The convention began on 26th January with sharing journeys of Oasis Movement and its core members. The international educators also shared their explorations of Freedom Education during the 3 days of Retreat.
The journey of learning commenced with the 1st workshop of Oasis L3 Course on Self-Leadership, followed by TOT (Training of Trainers) for conducting L3 workshop for adults and Life Camp for teenagers & youths.
Kateryna Botvinnik (Founder, One Crazy School, Vinnystia, Ukraine) led the PIF in Ukraine with the first L3 workshop for colleagues and teachers of her Freedom School.
Bopha Keo (Educator, AHHA Education, Cambodia) conducted Oasis Life Camp for the students, organized at their centre in Kampot Province.
Ruud Middelaar & Dorianne Groot from Netherlands conducted first L3 workshop for team-mates at their Democratic School, De Ruimte, located at Soest.
Olivia Nannono (Founder of a Non-profit, Enhance Humanity, Uganda) conducted L3 workshop for organisation members at Jinjal.
Frances Underwood (Principal) & Thanadol Thoolmala (Teacher) from Mosaic Learning Centre, Thailand, conducted first L3 workshop for teachers and staff at Bang Phra.
Ripple Effect: Ira & Olha, Teachers, One Crazy School (Vinnystia, Ukraine), conducted their first L3 workshop for community members, under the guidance of Kateryna.
Anastasia Nikitina, Educator, conducted first Life Camp for students of her study centre, 'Variant' Development Centre, Voronezh, Russia.
Inna Luzhetska (Educator from Spain) conducted Life Camp for Ukraine teenagers at Pamplona, Spain (Photo on left). She also conducted L3 workshop for adults at Sauveterre-de-Bearn, France (Photo on right).
Ruud & Dorianne conducted L3 workshop for the parents associated with their Democratic School at Soest, Netherlands.
Ekaterina (Katya) Melikhova from Israel, conducted Life Lessons based on Oasis Life Camps during her Summer Camp with the group of Adults & Youths at Telavi, Georgia.
Olivia (Enhance Humanity, Uganda) conducted Life Camp for slum youths of Jinjal.
Kateryna & her team of facilitators - Nataliya Zaitseva, Natalliya Demydova, Ira & Olha - conducted a series of workshops for war-affected adults at their Freedom School, Vinnytsia, Ukraine.
Going ahead in her facilitation, Kateryna conducted 1st L3 workshop for teenagers at her Freedom School, Vinnystia, Ukraine.
Oasis hosted 2nd retreat of L3 festival at Oasis Valleys, India, under OFI. 18 Educators from 12 countries participated in the learning retreat organized from 10-22 October. They completed 1st year of Oasis L3 Course followed by Facilitation trainings. The retreat was facilitated by Oasis Founder Members, Sheeba Nair & Dr Neha Vakharia along with Tina Vasudeva, Chief Coordinator, OFI.
Audrey Hanna, Educator, AHHA Education, conducted 1st L3 Workhop for youths, at Kampot Province, Cambodia.
Dilshan Fernando & Sasha Kheyfets, conducted L3 workshop for friends & colleagues at Buona Vista, Rumassala, Sri Lanka.
New Facilitators, Ira K & Nataliya D of Vilnosvita, independently conducted workshops for war-affected adults at their centre in Vinnystia, Ukraine.
Ira Kireluk conducted the last L3 workshop of OFI 2024 at Freedom School, Vinnystia, Ukraine; the 10th L3 Workshop by Ukraine Team.
Year 2024 was very encouraging & hope giving for OFI Community.
