Power of Girls
What we do for Teenagers and Youths
WHY
While the world is progressing, the issue of gender bias is far from being resolved. And in India, it feels that the struggle has just begun. Girls, in India, face unprecedented discrimination in all walks of life. Given an equal opportunity, they can shine, and outshine. Oasis believes in empowering girls to take on the world, choose their own path, and decide their own destiny. Special effort is put behind guiding and mentoring all the girls to express themselves and break barriers.
HOW
At Oasis, there are a number of programs that are designed for girls. Saamarthya is one such project, meant to encourage and empower girls, and train them to excel in every aspect of life. Camps like Life Camp, Love Camp and Dream India Camp are organized for girls to be independent – financially, intellectually and emotionally. Oasis programs work around Gender Sensitization & Equality, Self Defence and Leadership skills, with an aim to nurture future women leaders!
Above all, be the heroine of your life,
not the victim.
