WHY

The real character of any person is tested the best in the most adverse conditions. The crisis or tough times not only mirror who one is but also present opportunities to build strengths and overcome weaknesses. Putting one’s mind through discipline and preparing oneself for the difficult times is the work of a visionary. Following heart and living a life based on principles is no less tough than hiking a mountain. So, to test the young leaders and to make them tough-minded, Oasis organizes Leadership Trekking Camps in the Himalayas.

HOW

10-12 days Oasis Leadership Trekking Camps are designed and organized in such a way that from the day zero to the day of return, participants are challenged every day, every hour, every minute – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. One’s fears, conditionings, beliefs, obsessions, addictions are exposed. And when they overcome them consciously, it strengthens the mind and builds real confidence. The huge mountains & abundant nature inspire participants to connect with their inner self, dreams, deep concerns and pains. Working in a team and living as a community builds their emotional quotient.

Only those who will risk going too far can
possibly find out how far one can go.

“It was the first trekking of my life. I came to know that I can walk 25 km, daily, for 7 days! I learnt that I can do what I want to do with my mind-power and I do not succumb to my mind.”

“I was completely changed on 8th Day, what I was on 1st day. There was not a single moment in this trekking camp that I have not fought with myself. Really, I have got so much from this camp that I will put it in practice for lifelong and will lead a good life with lots of joy.”

“Lots of learning from this trekking camp. If we start training youths from beginning we get better results in future & our India is going to rule the world… I learned (to ask myself) that, Am I inspiration to someone? And if not, in what matter I am going to be an inspiration to all in future?”

“As this camp was a leadership camp, it had learning, happiness, enjoyment, discipline, rules, teamwork and many things. It is different. You actually don’t just trek; but you actually talk with yourself, nature, overcome your limits, practice L3 principles, implement them and make yourself a new person.”

~ Vinodini (Participant)

“Trekking as an adventure activity has always been a joy for me. But this time, it was a different kind of joy. The joy of being silent, being in the lap of nature, and being one with myself.”

“Amazing, eye-opening, thrilling! It was not just a trekking camp; Trekking was a part of it. There was bigger mental trekking which began on day 1st. Going into complete isolation from the outside world to know more about yourself and take up responsibilities. It made me realize how much I really apply the L3 principles in life.”
